About The Position

This position provides primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation. Supports the organization in fulfilling the mission, vision, and values of Logan Health. Logan Health Medical Center has a Full-Time opening for a Registered Nurse to be part of its dedicated ICU team! This position is located in scenic Kalispell, MT in the heart of the Flathead Valley. Our ICU nurses are known for their critical thinking, diligence, and attention to detail. Requirements

Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana.
Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.
Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification required as dictated by each practice/service line.
ACLS & NIHSS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

BSN degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
Open Heart experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation.
Works with complex cases and delivers therapies like continuous renal replacement therapy, intubation, intracranial pressure monitoring, and advanced cardiac support with devices like Impella and balloon pumps.
Collaborates with a cohesive team, providing support to one another.
Utilizes cutting-edge technology and protocols, including invasive hemodynamic monitoring, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and more.
