About The Position

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a high-acuity critical care assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong ICU experience across multiple critical care specialties and be comfortable floating between ICU units based on patient care needs. Candidates with cardiovascular and fresh heart experience will receive priority consideration.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required in one or more of the following: ICU SICU CTICU Trauma ICU MS ICU Neuro ICU
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
• Heart experience highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active NY RN license required
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• NURSYS verification required for all active RN licenses

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients across multiple specialties
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions
• Operate advanced ICU equipment and therapies including CRRT and hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary critical care teams
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to various ICU units as required based on staffing and patient care needs
