Full Time Inpatient Dialysis 11a-11p Bi-weekly Friday and Saturday Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The Loyola Inpatient Dialysis unit provides adult and pediatric hemodialysis care with five dialysis stations. We provide hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy to a diverse group of patients with kidney failure across the hospital. Dialysis care is provided by a team of professionals, including nephrologists, dialysis registered nurses, certified hemodialysis technicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Our goal is to maintain and improve the health and quality of life for patients with renal disease. On call shifts are required. Come and explore all that Loyola Medicine has to offer.

Requirements

  • A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
  • BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
  • Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
  • Previous Dialysis experience

Responsibilities

  • Provides adult and pediatric hemodialysis care with five dialysis stations.
  • Provides hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy to a diverse group of patients with kidney failure across the hospital.
  • Works as part of a team of professionals, including nephrologists, dialysis registered nurses, certified hemodialysis technicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintains and improves the health and quality of life for patients with renal disease.
  • Works on-call shifts as required.
