About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pediatric Acute Care. This role involves applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. The nurse will effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team, collaborate in establishing patient goals, and evaluate progress. The position also requires engaging in learning activities to further professional growth according to Board of Nursing standards. The unit is patient-centered, fast-paced, and team-focused, caring for pediatric patients from newborn to 18 years with a variety of medical and/or surgical diagnoses. This is an opportunity to impact the hospital's growth within the newest acute care area at Monroe Carell, which has a strong foundation in teamwork and flexibility.

Relevant Work Experience
Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
1 year of experience

Responsibilities
