About The Position
Shriners Children’s is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional inpatient care to pediatric patients with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip/palate. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
Requirements
- RN License in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- 2 years' experience in acute care nursing
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Responsibilities
- Coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment.
- Support professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
- Provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.
