About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for their Inpatient Surgical unit, working nights. This position offers up to a $20,000 bonus, with $7,500 for new graduates. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Professional performance standards such as ethics, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health are also integral to the role. Direct care RNs are required to have BLS within 90 days of hire. The role involves assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and overall patient care responsibility. Requirements

  • RN Degree: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN
  • RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia
  • BLS within 90 days of hire (for Direct Care RN's)
