Registered Nurse - Inpatient Psychiatry - Full Time Nights
About The Position
Gracie Square Hospital is a leading behavioral health facility in New York City providing comprehensive, personalized healthcare. Through our affiliation with NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine, we deliver innovative treatments, helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and long-term well-being. This role involves providing direct nursing care in an acute care inpatient behavioral health setting. The Registered Nurse will perform various procedures and tasks essential to delivering top-notch patient-centered care, optimizing the patient's experience, providing support throughout the continuum of care, and participating in initiatives focused on improving nursing practice performance. The position is full-time, working 12-hour nights from 7:30pm to 8am, including rotating weekends.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Excellent customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of acute care RN experience in psych nursing
