About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in Inpatient Oncology at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. The role involves providing professional nursing care within clinical areas, integrating theoretical knowledge with clinical experience, and delivering care using a systematic approach. The nurse will supervise and direct delegated nursing acts. The position requires a commitment to 12-hour day shifts (7a-7p) with a rotation for every third weekend and holiday.
Requirements
- Associates degree of nursing is required.
- Registered Nurse (RN), Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or ability to obtain at time of hire.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or ability to obtain during orientation.

Responsibilities
- Integrate theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in the care of patients and families.
- Deliver care using a deliberate, systematic approach.
- View clinical situations from a patient and family focus.
- Provide professional nursing care within clinical areas/campuses as required by staffing matrices.
- Supervise and direct delegated nursing acts commensurate with educational preparation and demonstrated abilities of the person supervised.
