This Per Diem Registered Nurse position in Inpatient Endoscopy is an exciting opportunity to join our team. The successful candidate will practice in accordance with the American Nurses Association's (ANA) scope and standards of nursing practice, utilizing clinical expertise to plan and deliver safe, therapeutic, and population-specific patient care. Care delivery will be patient and family-centered, incorporating their unique needs and characteristics. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team is essential to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes. The role also involves leadership through orienting, mentoring, and managing team members to ensure quality care with compassion, dignity, respect, and efficiency. Participation in unit, departmental, and/or institutional performance improvement initiatives is expected to enhance patient, family, and service outcomes based on professional practice standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required for employees hired after 9/1/2020 (those who were hired prior to 9/1/2020 are grandfathered).
  • Current and valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse license.
  • Current and valid BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of standards of practice for all areas of patient care.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • 1 year of RN experience REQUIRED.

Nice To Haves

  • Endoscopy Experience HIGHLY PREFERRED!
  • Bachelor s Degree Nursing.
  • 1 - 2 years Nursing.

Responsibilities
