About The Position

An experienced dialysis nurse is preferred for this role, but training will be provided based on the candidate's nursing experience and skill level. The position sometimes requires working independently. Our department operates B Braun hemodialysis machines, as well as Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and plasmapheresis with NxStage machines. We use Baxter equipment for peritoneal dialysis treatments. Nurses who do not have prior experience with CRRT and plasmapheresis will be offered onsite training!

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
• Nursing experience is preferred
• Must be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
• Must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption

Nice To Haves

• Prior dialysis nurse experience
• Prior experience with CRRT and plasmapheresis
