About The Position

The dialysis registered nurse provides direct nursing care to patients with acute or chronic renal failure. Specialized skills include pre-dialysis assessment, dialysis access, monitoring during and after treatment, operating the dialysis machinery, point-of-care lab testing, and patient/family education. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• RN license active in the state of Missouri.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate effective leadership abilities.
• Exhibits valuable time management skills.
• Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Previous nursing experience
