About The Position

This is a Full-Time Day Shift Position on the Cardiac Telemetry Unit (5S), a 24-bed unit with 6 semi-private and 12 private rooms. The unit specializes in caring for patients with acute and chronic heart problems, aiming to improve their overall quality of life. The Cardiac Team is diverse, well-rounded, friendly, skilled, and works collaboratively. New graduates are welcome and will benefit from a new grad residency program. Experienced nurses will receive 6 weeks of hospital orientation with skilled preceptors and clinical nurse leaders. The fast-paced unit seeks motivated nurses ready to learn and provide high-quality, patient-centered care. This role offers opportunities for advancement, skill-building, and long-lasting career fulfillment.

Requirements

• A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required.
• BSN or ADN.
• BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.
