About The Position

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Infusion team! Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in an autonomous manner by utilizing a systematic approach to nursing practice. This includes incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and PHNS policy.

Requirements

Graduate from course of study in nursing resulting in a minimum of an associate degree/diploma in nursing.
One or more years’ experience infusion nursing
Must maintain a current state registered nurse license.
BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
Strong clinical and human relations skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act and PHNS.
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients.
Safely and effectively operates the following: Various Health Testing Equipment (depending upon area of specialty), Personal Computer, Photocopier, Printer, and Telephone.

Nice To Haves

Role may require completion of the ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy course or equivalent 2-day course.
Preferred certification in oncology nursing.
Keyboarding skills preferred.
