This Registered Nurse position, under the general direction of the Nurse Manager, involves coordinating and providing patient care, assuming individual responsibility and accountability for nursing care provision. The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and prioritization skills, excellent time management, strict attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

Active RN license in the state of LA
BLS CPR

Nice To Haves

ONS/OCN highly preferred
3 years of nursing experience in a clinic preferred
Oncology/Infusion nursing experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate and provide patient care
Assume individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care
Assess and prioritize patient needs
Manage time effectively
Pay strict attention to details

Perform patient assessment and documentation of IV infusions of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
Administer IM and SC injections
Manage central line access
Perform dressing changes
Conduct therapeutic phlebotomies
Provide patient education
Perform patient triage
Coordinate care through a multi-disciplinary approach
Perform general nursing duties
Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
