About The Position
Responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the infusion clinic, personnel management, program development and administrative duties. Using demonstrated leadership & management skills, will work to collaboratively assure the delivery of quality care.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of LA required
- Current ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card required, or obtained within 30 days of hire
- BLS CPR required
- Minimum of 5 years general nursing experience
- Medication and IV administration
- patient assessments
- information related to care of oncology patients
- Administration of hazardous and non-hazardous therapy in accordance with ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy standards and organizational policy.
Nice To Haves
- OCN required within 2 years of attaining position.
- Oncology and charge/lead/supervisory experience preferred.
