About The Position

This is a Registered Nurse position in the IMC (Intermediate Care) unit. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience, and the unit does not accept first-time travelers. Weekend work is on an every-other basis, and there is no on-call requirement. Floating to other acute care units within the scope of practice may be required as needed. Compliance is mandatory for timely start, with a two-week delay if not compliant due to bi-weekly orientation schedules. Locals are accepted at the same rate. The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the contract length.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Must not be a first-time traveler.
• Full compliance required to start on time.
• Ability to float to other acute care units within scope of practice.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.
• Willingness to work holidays as assigned.
• RTO (Ready to Offer) must be a maximum of 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit.
• Float to other acute care units within scope of practice as needed.
• Work every other weekend.
• Work holidays as per the holiday schedule: if one major holiday falls in the assignment period, work it; if two fall, work both; if three fall, work two.
• Complete all required compliance documentation for timely start.
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation if needed.
