About The Position
This position requires a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience, including 1 year in a PCU/Stepdown unit. The role involves caring for cardiac, cardiothoracic, and vascular patients, including those recovering from open or closed heart surgeries on post-operative day 1. Proficiency in Epic charting within the last 2 years and experience in a large Level I trauma facility are mandatory.
Requirements
- 2 years of RN experience
- 1 year of PCU/Stepdown experience
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Experience with cardiac, cardiothoracic, and vascular patients
- Experience with post-operative day 1 open or closed heart cases
- Recent Epic charting experience within the last 2 years
- Experience in a large Level I trauma facility
