Registered Nurse III- PRN
About The Position
Registered Nurse III – ICU Department at Texas Health Kaufman. This role is PRN, requiring one shift per week, specifically Tuesday/Wednesday nights and some Sunday nights from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. The ICU Department is an 8-bed General Acute Intensive Care Unit that also functions as a swing bed unit. Patient acuity levels vary, including DKA, hyperthermia, hypothermia, various drips, step-down patients, and neuro patients. The position offers a set work schedule to aid in planning, a robust Unit Based Council (UBC), and engaged leadership, with a strong focus on NCAP/certification.
Requirements
- 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 days
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred
