About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency. Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. Work location: Texas Health Kaufman- 850 Ed Hall Drive, Kaufman, TX 75142. Work hours: Full time 36 hours a week, Nights. 7:00pm - 7:00am with rotating weekends. Emergency department highlights: Received a commendation award for excellent maternal/neonatal care. Active established UBC that collaborates with other departments. High‑acuity, fast‑paced Emergency Department caring for a diverse patient population across all acuity levels. Strong collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to support safe, efficient patient care. Supportive leadership team committed to staff development, open communication, and nurse engagement. Experienced night‑shift staff who value teamwork, mentorship, and a positive work environment.

Requirements

1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 days is required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required
NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required OR ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 months is required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or Associate's Degree Nursing Req Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred
2 years of ER experience is strongly preferred
