Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Registered Nurse: CA RN License
- Basic Life Support - CPR BLS, within 30 Days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 6 - months
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS, within 6 - months
Responsibilities
- Performs appropriate nursing history and physical at admission and on an ongoing basis.
- Provides baseline data pertaining to activities of daily living.
- Reflects physiological condition of the patient.
- Reflects psychosocial needs of the patient.
- Reflects perceptions of patient and/or significant others of his health problem(s) and his expectations of the present hospitalization.
- Provides information needed to begin discharge planning.
