Registered Nurse II- Full Time, Evenings 3pm - 3am
About The Position
Texas Health Kaufman is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Emergency Department. This is a full-time position with evening shifts (3:00pm - 3:00am). The Emergency Department is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment that cares for a diverse patient population. The department has received a commendation for excellent maternal/neonatal care and has an active Unit Based Council (UBC). The role involves strong collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care. The leadership team is committed to staff development, open communication, and nurse engagement. Experienced night-shift staff are valued for their teamwork, mentorship, and positive work environment.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred)
- 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually within 90 days
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days
- NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 Days or ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 6 Months
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course within 12 months
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
