Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem 84 Operating Room
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking per diem Registered Nurses for its Operating Room/Perioperative team. Nurses work in operating rooms at Christiana Hospital, Christiana Surgery Center, and Wilmington Hospital as required by operational needs, serving the Newark and Wilmington campuses and collaborating with colleagues to deliver patient care. The position offers flexible self-scheduling and day or evening shifts. The posting describes 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, with available shifts specified as 12 hours. Nurses may commit to 84 hours in a four-week block. Pay rates are based on monthly committed hours and include shift and weekend differentials. New hires must commit to 10 day-shift training shifts during their first month for New Employee Orientation, Nursing Orientation, and training.
Requirements
- BSN required, or commitment to acquire one within three years of the hire date.
- Current RN licensure required.
- At least three years of Operating Room Registered Nurse experience required.
- Commit to 10 day-shift training shifts during the first month for orientation and training.
