About The Position
This is a temporary position for Registered Nurse II conversions, limited to a 365-day assignment. It does not include benefits. The role involves providing patient care within the Short Stay Unit 9C at the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA). Requirements
- Associate or Diploma degree in nursing required.
- A minimum of two years of work experience as a registered nurse required.
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- If deciding to accept a full-time position with benefits, it is required to be enrolled in a BSN program within 2 years of the acceptance of the full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care as a registered nurse.
