About The Position

ChristianaCare's Primary Care at Whitehall is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to deliver high-quality, safe, and evidence-based patient care. This role is responsible for achieving optimal patient outcomes through both independent practice and collaborative teamwork within the clinical setting. The Registered Nurse II will apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, contributing as a trusted and integral member of the healthcare team. Requirements

  • A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse licensure or eligible for licensure in the state Delaware, Maryland or Pennsylvania & New Jersey depending on location of employment.
  • Two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, physician office experience is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide age-appropriate, patient-centered care OB and GYN in both virtual and in-person settings, using strong clinical knowledge to assess and address patient needs.
  • Deliver services such as care management, in person nurse visits and triaging patients.
  • Collaborate closely with providers to support examinations, procedures, and efficient clinic operations.
  • Serve as a key liaison among patients, providers, and staff, ensuring clear communication, coordinating workflow, and responding to urgent situations.
  • Support staff development through training and mentorship.
  • Participate in quality and compliance initiatives.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, patient education, and high-quality care delivery.
