The Registered Nurse II (RN II) functions as an experienced clinical reviewer responsible for comprehensive preoperative chart review, risk stratification, and coordination of next steps for patients with complex medical histories. This role applies independent nursing judgment within established protocols to determine appropriate preoperative pathways, escalate concerns, and collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and specialty teams to ensure patient safety and readiness for surgery.
