The Clinical Nurse II, Oncology is a Registered Nurse who delivers direct care to assigned Oncology patients in an ambulatory setting. Nursing care is delivered using standards of care by following approved policies and procedures. Utilizing appropriate decision making skills exhibits competence in the technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills required to independently and safely manage routine patient assignment. The Clinical Nurse II, Oncology establishes a plan of care, sets goals, determines priorities, and provides care within established standards of practice.
Requirements
- Assoc. Degree/College Diploma Nursing program required
- 1 year acute care experience in their specialty
- 1 year For Infusion Center
- Valid CA RN license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (state accredited program)
- ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy Certified
