About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in ICU care to join our team. The selected candidate will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, support a collaborative environment, and adhere to facility protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience is required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Proficient with EPIC charting system and BD Alaris IV Pumps.
- Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:2-3 based on acuity.
- Familiarity with chest tubes, drains, and hypothermia protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, primarily in a Medical ICU setting, handling cases such as DKA, sepsis, and post-operative recovery.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and titrate medications accurately.
- Monitor and manage invasive lines, including a-lines and CVP.
- Participate in rapid response and resource nurse activities.
