Beth Israel Deaconess Milton is currently seeking a night shift, ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ICU RN is responsible for the care of patients within the ICU. Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, within the framework of the RN license, participates in the following: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, Systematically assesses the health status of patients, Analyzes and interprets data and makes nursing judgments regarding care, Plans, implements and coordinates nursing interventions, Evaluates outcome of nursing interventions, Revises/updates plan of care, Documents nursing process clearly and concisely, Communicates nursing plan effectively. Our 8-bed CCU/ICU is a dynamic, fast-paced environment staffed by a dedicated interdisciplinary team specializing in comprehensive critical care. Here, you’ll support patients requiring advanced therapies such as mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation (including BiPAP), central line management, and medication titration. It’s a highly collaborative setting where your expertise is valued, your voice is heard, and your contributions make a meaningful impact in our community hospital. As an ICU RN at BID Milton, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced clinical support. You’ll use your critical-thinking skills to care for a diverse population, including post-operative patients, individuals with complex medical needs, those recovering from respiratory illness, and patients transitioning to comfort-focused care.
