About The Position

This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role guarantees 72 hours bi-weekly, not including on-call time. The schedule involves 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend rotation. If working through winter holidays, two holidays are required. The nurse will be expected to float between the ICU and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). Orientation is provided weekly. Scrubs can be any color.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license.
• BLS-AHA certification.
• ACLS-AHA certification.
• EPIC EMR system experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar setting.
• CT surgery experience.
• Experience with devices such as IABP and Impella.
• Must have been separated from BILH for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the ICU.
• Float between ICU and IMCU as needed.
• Work 12-hour night shifts.
• Work every other weekend.
• Work required holidays if applicable.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation.
• Manage patients requiring devices like IABP and Impella.
• Provide care for CT surgery patients.
