About The Position
Join our highly engaged 32 bed ICU team. As a critical-care nurse working at Scripps Health Mercy San Diego, you’ll join a team of skilled medical professionals who provide superior health services in a caring environment. The Scripps Health team is dedicated to making a positive, measurable difference in the health of individuals in the communities we serve. Our critical-care nurses gain exposure to high acuity cases in: Medical, Surgical, Medical-cardiac, Cardiothoracic-surgical, Respiratory, Neuro-trauma, Trauma. We encourage you to join our ICU team of Registered Nurses (RN) at Scripps Mercy San Diego, where the RN will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. Additional expectations include but not limited to: Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
- At least one year Adult ICU RN experience
- Current CA State RN license
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of ICU RN experience in a Level I Trauma Hospital
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
