This role involves performing comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing care plans, administering treatments, and monitoring patient responses. The RN collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and efficient patient flow, documentation, and education. They are expected to adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and maintain professional practice standards. Specific responsibilities include the rapid assessment, stabilization, and continuous care of patients with cardiac emergencies, stroke symptoms, respiratory distress, sepsis, and other critical conditions. The RN must be proficient in critical thinking, clinical judgment, and managing high-stress situations, while upholding the hospital's mission, vision, and values.
