About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the ICU will provide advanced care for patients with critical conditions, focusing on medical and surgical care. The role requires expertise in cardiac monitoring, medication titration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in EPIC charting and the use of BD Alaris IV Pumps
- Strong skills in medication titration and hypothermia protocol
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to ICU patients with medical and surgical needs.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage invasive line monitoring.
- Coordinate patient care with support from mobility techs and resource nurses.
- Participate in unit orientation and adhere to unit-specific protocols and competencies.
