About The Position
Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend night shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including: Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU / MICU / NCCU. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS – Required
- Proficiency with EPIC – Required
- IV Start
- Telemetry
- Ventilator management experience
Responsibilities
- Float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity.
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
