About The Position
The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients of mixed acuity, including intermediate care and non-vented ICU level patients, in a Level II Trauma Center setting. This role requires managing various patient types such as neurological and post-procedural patients, as well as those with respiratory failure, CHF, sepsis, and other acute conditions.
Requirements
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required.
- Experience with telemetry, managing respiratory and cardiac equipment.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients on bipap/cpap and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Monitor hemodynamic lines and post-surgical drains.
- Administer titratable drips and provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in hourly rounding and collaborate with healthcare teams.
