About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the ICU Specialty Float Pool, responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate direct patient care across diverse specialty units in the Austin, TX Metro area. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate patient journeys by serving as a communication link among healthcare team members, and meticulously record patient conditions, observations, and interventions.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
RN with 2 years current experience in ICU.
Must have knowledge/experience in all aspects of Critical Care (medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro).

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Coordinate all aspects of a patient's journey by serving as the central link for communication and assessment among all disciplines within the healthcare team.
Communicate and meticulously record all patient conditions, observations, and interventions to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated care plan.
