About The Position

Seeking an experienced Medical ICU (MICU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment at a teaching hospital. The RN will provide comprehensive, high-acuity care to critically ill adult patients with complex medical conditions, collaborating closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care. Candidates should be confident managing ventilated patients, titratable drips, and multiple critical care devices while thriving in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Requirements

• 18 months of MICU experience required (2 years preferred)
• Active BLS (AHA or Red Cross) certification required
• Active ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) certification required at submission
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Epic experience required
• Experience with ventilated patients and critical care required
• Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips required
• Experience managing arterial lines and central lines required
• Experience interpreting dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases required
• Ability to float within scope to affiliated hospitals required
• All RTO must be submitted with the initial application
• Two supervisory references required
• Nicotine-free status required

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of MICU experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
