About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Falmouth, MA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced intensive care environment while demonstrating strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- ICU/Critical Care nursing experience required
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- CCRN Certification
- TCAR Certification
- De-escalation Training Certification
- Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and intracranial pressure monitoring
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients requiring intensive care interventions
- Administer medications and evaluate patient responses
- Operate and monitor ventilators, invasive lines, and hemodynamic equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Develop and update individualized patient care plans
- Serve as charge nurse when assigned
- Follow all hospital safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
- Participate in patient and family education as appropriate
- Float to Med/Surg Tele units when required
