About The Position

This role involves delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU Stepdown unit, focusing on patient safety, comfort, and positive health outcomes. The nurse will develop and manage individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust care as needed. Effective communication with physicians and the care team is crucial for timely decision-making and seamless care delivery. The role also includes coordinating care across different disciplines and guiding discharge planning to ensure safe transitions for patients and their families.

Requirements

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
