About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across both Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Medical-Surgical settings. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong critical thinking skills, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to care for patients with varying levels of acuity. The RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Previous experience in Critical Care, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Medical-Surgical nursing preferred.
  • Ability to manage patients with varying levels of acuity.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Experience caring for post-surgical and medically complex patients preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill, medical, and post-surgical patients.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and interpret patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in status.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Float between ICU and Medical-Surgical units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements.
  • Support a safe, patient-centered environment while adhering to organizational policies and clinical standards.
