Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
2 years of recent bedside experience in Critical Care.
Must be able to work all aspects of Critical Care (Neuro, Cardiac, Medical, Surgical).
Proven ability to successfully navigate and provide autonomous direct care in a multi-unit, float, or resource team environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver specialized, high-quality direct patient care across diverse specialty units, strictly adhering to established policies and protocols.
Implement and continuously evaluate customized patient care plans, accurately monitoring and documenting patient response to ensure optimal outcomes.
Coordinate all patient care activities, effectively collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure a seamless and holistic patient journey.
Assess patient needs comprehensively and execute physician and nursing orders promptly and accurately to maintain safety and efficiency.
