About The Position

Baptist Beaches is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a Fulltime Days position. This role involves providing direct patient care using the nursing process, educating patients and families, coordinating with ancillary services, and acting as a patient advocate. The position requires participation in staff meetings and unit activities, and includes on-call responsibilities. The nurse will care for patients with various medical, surgical, and other conditions, and must embrace and uphold the hospital's mission statement.

Requirements

Associate of Science in Nursing
1-2 years Telemetry Experience
Hospital Experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Licensed Registered Nurse Required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)
1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred

Responsibilities

Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
Act as the patient advocate
Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case
Assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case
