As a Registered Nurse, you will administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for our patients according to treatment plans ordered by our oncology and hematology providers.

Requirements

Professional nursing degree
Tennessee State Nursing licensure
Current BLS certification upon hire
At least one year of prior nursing experience

Nice To Haves

BSN degree
Chemo-Immuno certification
OCN certification

Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for patients according to treatment plans ordered by oncology and hematology providers.
Provide education and emotional support to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Perform venipuncture and access ports to administer treatment.
Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring they feel comfortable during a challenging time.
Serve as a resource for patients and other clinical team members regarding infection treatments.
Navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and other safety guidelines.
Communicate respectfully and promptly with team members to maintain quality patient care.
Assist with additional tasks as needed.
