Registered Nurse I (RN) - Medical and Cardiac Observation
About The Position
The Medical Observation Unit (23 beds) and Cardiac Observation Unit (10 beds) care for a wide variety of adult patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological, etc. diagnoses with an anticipated length of stay of 24-48 hours! This is perfect for nurses who enjoy critical thinking, strong assessment skills, and a fast-paced work environment. Our collaborative interdisciplinary team expediates monitoring, diagnostic testing, and interventions while providing holistic, patient-centered care. Our unit prides itself on teamwork, respect, and open communication. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing . Not for a new grad nurse
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
