About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) assists at the advanced beginner level in providing individualized, goal directed nursing care to patients and families utilizing principles and practices of the nursing process; interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes. The Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. We are a highly skilled team of care team members and providers here to provide exceptional care to our patients. We provide treatment whether you experience mild symptoms or a severe itch that has put your life on hold! Clinic tasks include intaking of patients, preparing rooms for patients, gathering of needed information for clinic visits, coordinating services during clinic visits, giving injections, allergy testing, phototherapy, and much more! As a clinical care team member, you will become highly skilled in Dermatology and ultimately be an expert in this field. The ideal candidate we are looking for would have a true passion for dermatology and be willing to work as a team with our providers, patients, and care team members.

Requirements

  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
  • A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required (for RN II).

  • Good peripheral vision capabilities (Continuous).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred (for RN I and RN II).
  • RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing are required to be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and successfully obtain a BSN degree within four years of the RN hire or reclassification date.
