About The Position

Nursing Resources provides 24/7 support for all nursing services. It combines Intake Coordinator, House Supervisor, House Resource and staffing coordinators. It is a fast past environment where team work, multi-tasking and critical thinking are key. This role facilitates patient throughput and bed assignments, provides administrative support to the health system in the absence of administration and departmental leaders, and provides clinical support for nursing units.

Requirements

Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required.
Three (3) years minimum medical-surgical and/or critical care experience.
Two years RN experience will be accepted if the RN has at least 6 months of RN experience within NRHS.
Current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training is required within 6 months of hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilitates patient throughput and bed assignments.
Provides administrative support to the health system in the absence of administration and departmental leaders.
Provides Clinical Support for Nursing Units.
Serves as liaison to Medical Staff
Performs Utilization Review (UR) of patients admitted through the Emergency Departments (in conjunction with UR department).
Serves as a unit representative on teams /committees when requested.
