Hospital at Home nurses will experience a team approach to serving patients as well as the flexibility and autonomy to do their jobs and provide patients with individualized care. We provide one on one patient centered care and education as well as critical thinking and clinical skills including but not limited to infusions, line care, catheter care, wound care, VAC management, chronic disease process management and education. This PRN position is for a home visiting team member within the Metro Region. Opportunity to cross train to remote patient monitoring as well.

Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).

Responsibilities
