We are currently seeking an Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospice team. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN License within CA.
A current CPR Certification.
Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
All nursing functions.
Written and oral communication skills.
Sympathetic attitude.
Customer services/relations.
Ability to work with dying patients.
Organizational and diplomacy skills.

Nice To Haves

One year experience as a professional nurse within the last 3 years with strong clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

Performs comprehensive nursing evaluations.
Assesses for signs and symptoms of discomfort including presence of pain and takes prompt and appropriate action.
Initiates and manages plan of care, provides appropriate nursing follow –up to all patients, and instructs caregivers in managing patient needs.
Coordinates all services provided to patients and families, as well as appropriateness of care, to ensure quality of care and services.
Provides supervision of Home Health Aides, Licenses Vocational Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Homemakers to ensure the best quality of care for patients.
