About The Position

The Direct Care Registered Nurse - Home Health and Hospice provides high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes or hospice settings, ensuring comfort, dignity, and emotional support during end-of-life care. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with a day shift schedule (8 AM-5 PM), located at Sentara Hospice Services in Newport News, VA. The role involves providing comprehensive care and support to patients and their families during a critical time.

Requirements

Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
Valid RN License in state of practice (VA) (Required)
BLS (Required within 90 days of hire)
1 year of nursing experience (Required)

Previous Home Care/Hospice experience (Strongly Preferred)
