Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Drivers License credentialed from the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles (IL-DMV) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide PRN field nursing support to ensure patient care coverage and staffing flexibility, working a minimum of 4 hours and up to 8 hours per scheduled weekday and/or weekend shift.
Deliver direct patient care in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
Implement, monitor, document, and communicate patient care plans and changes in patient condition.
Coordinate multidisciplinary care, ensuring effective collaboration among healthcare team members and timely execution of physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs to support safe and effective transitions of care.
