About The Position
Cheer Home Care is actively hiring a Private Duty Registered Nurse on a per diem basis. This role focuses on providing high-quality care to older adults in their homes, emphasizing connection, compassion, and making a positive impact. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans and provide feedback to clients, client representatives, and other nurses.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted California registered nurse license
- 3 years of experience as a registered nurse
- Proof of Negative TB result
- Physical Screening Documentation within the last year
- Active California Drivers license and car insurance
- Cell phone with Internet Access

- Home Health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, IV therapy, and monitoring of chronic/acute conditions
- Manage and monitor patients with complex needs (e.g., ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes)
- Recognize early signs of deterioration and intervene appropriately
- Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and equipment use
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with home health regulations and infection control practices
